Tamarra Lewis, B.Eng., M.CL., P.Eng.
Intermediate Water Resources Engineer and Project Manager
Tamarra’s passion for working with people and water conservation has led her to approach the practice of engineering from a social and multi-disciplinary lens. As a Water Resources Engineer, Tamarra brings an intersectional approach, combining technical excellence with social awareness to advocate for clients’ needs.
Throughout her career in environmental consulting, Tamarra has developed a robust technical skill set that includes hydrology, floodplain management, and surface water quality monitoring. At SVS, Tamarra will continue her technical work with the addition of continuous cultural learning. She identifies life-long learning as a key personal and professional value.
Tamarra holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Conservation Leadership, graduating from the University of Guelph in 2016 and 2024, respectively. She also completed a minor in International Development and focused her master’s research on conservation methods from western and Indigenous perspectives. Tamarra deeply values relationship building and holds high standards for the protection of healthy lands and waters.
Outside of work, Tamarra enjoys spending time outdoors exploring local hiking trails with her dog or indoors, pursuing a new creative craft project.
