Geneviève Campbell, MEnv (Candidate), BA

Geneviève is passionate about ensuring a healthy environment for future generations and is convinced that Indigenous-led conservation and having Indigenous Peoples and groups at the forefront of this movement is the way to achieve this. Geneviève also has a deep commitment to learning from and collaborating with Indigenous communities. She values Métis, First Nations and Inuit Rights to self-determination and governance, and the importance of understanding each client’s specific context and needs to support them in reaching their objectives and having the tools to make informed decisions.
Geneviève’s experience working as the consultation coordinator for the W8banaki Land Office has allowed her to gain a deep understanding of federal and Quebec environmental regulatory processes. Throughout her experience, she has worked with the W8banaki on their Consultation protocol, on the development of their Lands Office, on consultation analysis and response tools, and on community engagement.
Geneviève is in the process of completing a Master of Environment in Environmental Assessment at Concordia University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Environment from Concordia University.
