Naomi Trott, MSc
Social Research and Project Manager
Naomi is passionate about collaborative, strengths-based research that supports Indigenous Nations in advancing their own priorities. She believes that the most meaningful solutions emerge from place-based knowledge and lived experiences of communities with long-standing relationships with their lands and waters.
Naomi’s experience spans social research, policy development, project management, program evaluation, and community engagement. She has been fortunate to work alongside Indigenous governments, organizations, and businesses across Canada, supporting projects related to economic development, health and well-being, natural resource management, and Indigenous Knowledge.
Naomi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in Geography, Urban and Environmental Studies from Concordia University. Her interdisciplinary background shapes her understanding of the connections between social, cultural, economic, and environmental well-being and guides her approach to research and project delivery.
Naomi’s ideal day includes a long run, fresh pastries, reading in the sun, jumping in a lake, and snuggling with her dog.
