Climate Action Forum

The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) invited Shared Value Solutions (SVS) to provide facilitation and presentation support for a virtual Climate Change Forum in November 2022. In March of 2022, SVS supported the MNO with facilitation and reporting related to the MNO’s first climate change forum with a focus on health and wellbeing. The success of the first forum led to a request by the MNO to host a second event with a focus on Climate Action – what people can do and what actions the MNO can take to deal with climate change. The overarching goal of the Climate Action Forum was to start a conversation with MNO citizens about climate change and what actions the MNO and individuals at home can take to tackle climate change. 

Value to the Client

With information gathered from the forum, SVS developed an MNO Climate Action Report that reflected the climate change concerns and priorities expressed by citizens attending the workshop.
