Jake Stemeroff, MBA
Jake is a socio-economic specialist and project manager with a diverse background in socio-economic and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) consulting, economic and financial modelling, economic development, and community engagement. He has worked with a wide variety of clients in the following sectors: power (generation and transmission), natural resource extraction and processing, transportation, municipal infrastructure, and agri-food. Jake has experience assessing socioeconomic and ESG considerations qualitatively and quantitatively through socioeconomic impact assessments, baseline studies, and developing economic/financial models. Jake was recognized in 2018, 2019 and 2021 as a leading Canadian professional under 35 enhancing overall sustainability by Leading Change Canada and the GLOBE Series for his work contributing to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2020, Jake graduated with distinction, earning an M.B.A. in finance and strategy from Wilfrid Laurier University. He also holds a B.B.A. in Sustainable Business Strategy from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Outside of work, Jake enjoys backcountry canoe trips with friends and his Labrador Retriever Layla. Jake is also an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan and enjoys playing recreational hockey.
