Elizabeth values lifelong learning and is passionate about using community engagement to bring understanding to the relationship between Traditional Knowledge and science. She has worked mainly on surface water projects that relate to the Community Based Land Use Planning of the Ontario Far North Planning Initiative. Her work has been presented at conferences and in workshops and has resulted in two peer-reviewed published papers and six hydrology data products.
Elizabeth’s educational background includes academic credentials in agricultural engineering, water resources engineering, GIS and spatial analysis, and agile project management. Born and raised in India, Elizabeth brings another cultural perspective to SVS.
